Nominations for all IASAS Awards are NOW OPEN!

 

Nominations packages should be sent to enquiries@iasas.global by March 31, 2026. Award recipients will be announced at the 2026 Global Summit on Student Affairs and Services.

Nominations can be made by IASAS members (effective or observant). Nomination package should include a letter of nomination, highlighting how the nominee(s) meets the criteria of the Award, a supporting letter, and additional collateral to support the nomination, and contact information (full name, email address, mailing address of the nominee, along with the full name and email address of the nominator).

Robert Shea IASAS Leadership Award

Awarded to leaders who have made an impact on the association.  

Granted to an IASAS member who has demonstrated leadership towards IASAS activities, strengthening the values and mission of IASAS locally and globally.

​

Dr. Robert Shea was one of the founding members of IASAS the first President of IASAS since chartering the organization in Belgium in 2013.

Roger Ludeman Award for Service

Awarded to leaders who have made an impact on the association and served as a member of the IASAS Board of Directors and Leadership Team.

Granted to an IASAS executive board member or part of the leadership team who has through dedication, services and commitment to strengthen the values and mission of IASAS locally and globally.

Dr. Roger Ludeman was the founding member and first President (prior to chartering the organization in Belgium) of IASAS. Roger’s vision for IASAS was pivotal in the organization’s activities.

IASAS Global Award for Internationalization and Professionalization

Awarded to Student Affairs practitioners, professionals, government or ministry educator, faculty, and staff.

​

Granted to an IASAS member (individual or organization) who has demonstrated extraordinary accomplishments to educate, internationalize the field of higher education administration and student support.  

AWARD: Framed certificate & 100 Euros

​

IASAS Research Award for Advancing Global Literature

Awarded to a Higher Education practitioner who contributed to the literature of global higher education & student affairs.

​

Granted to an IASAS member (or team) engaged in research on internationalization and globalization of student affairs and higher education practices that impacts student affairs and services work.

AWARD: Framed certificate & 100 Euros

IASAS Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Award

Awarded to a Regional Director or Coordinator

​

Granted to an IASAS board member who has proved to strengthen the values and mission of IASAS in any region and advancing diversity, inclusion, and equity, particularly in relation to UNESCOs Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs). 

AWARD: Plaque

IASAS Resilience Award

Available to all members of IASAS

​

Granted to an IASAS member or organization who had navigated and innovated to overcome adversity locally (conflict regions; natural disaster; war; etc…)

AWARD: Framed certificate & 100 Euros
